Captain Kathy was the best! She is very knowledgeable and you can tell she enjoys what she does! We were able to see lots of wildlife on our tour, including 2 baby osprey. We were able to see the ponies with binoculars, but were too far away for good pictures. So glad we got to see them though! Also was able to get an amazing video of a mommy osprey taking off holding a fish in her feet! Would definitely take a tour with her again!

Our family had a wonderful time with Captain Kathy this morning on the 10:15 am Assateague Island tour. She was extremely knowledgeable about all the ponies, birds, and houses we saw. We were even lucky enough to see dolphins! Highly recommend!

So happy we did this! We saw a beautiful pinto pony from our tour boat (a small no frills pontoon boat) and stopped in the bay not too far from where he was eating on Assateague Island. Also got fairly close to a couple osprey nests holding ospreys, and one was a mama with babies! It was a peaceful lil’ boat tour. Reserved the 8:45am nature tour of Assateague Island on July 5. Check-in was quick and easy. The boat departed on time. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and answered plenty of my questions about the ponies— but also shared very interesting facts about how the bay was created by men and more. Highly recommend!
